AARP awards $15k grant to Front Door Agency

CONCORD — AARP New Hampshire recently announced that The Front Door Agency received a $15,000 Community Challenge grant. Marking the program’s 10th anniversary, the grant is part of an $8.3 million commitment by the AARP, doubling last year’s total to fund 750 quick-action projects nationwide aimed at making communities more livable for people of all ages, especially older adults. The grant will support a project to install hallway handrails and upgrade a housing unit at a supportive housing site for older women.
