NASHUA – Theresa Douville, 69, of Hooksett, was killed in a muti-vehicle crash on the northbound side of the F.E. Everett Turnpike on the afternoon of July 1.

According to State Police, troopers responded to the scene of the three-vehicle crash at 4:33 p.m.

The preliminary investigation suggested that Douville, who was driving a 2020 Honda CRV, did not slow down in time to avoid traffic that was stopped ahead of her. As a result, she collided with Gyna Santana, 35, of Lawrence, Mass., who was driving an Infiniti QX60. Police later determined that Douville was not wearing a seatbelt. The impact of the initial crash caused Santana to hit Madison Berube, 30, of Hooksett, who was also driving an Infiniti QX60.

Efforts to save Douville were made at the scene. She was then taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Both Santana and Berube had children in their vehicles. However, none of them were injured.
