MONDAY, MARCH 2

• SENIOR CENTER: Book Club — 10 a.m., North Barn – Meeting Room, 19 Kimball Hill Road, Hudson. Every month the club will choose a subject and participants will choose a book to read. The next month, participants will give a brief summary of their book and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. Check the bulletin board at the center for themes.

• TOWN OFFICE: Litchfield Board of Selectmen — 7-8 p.m., Town Office, 2 Liberty Way, Suite 1, Litchfield. Selectmen will attend the annual Pat Jewett Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony at the Town Office.

TUESDAY, MARCH 3

• SENIOR CENTER: Hudson Fire Department Safety Seminars — 10:30 a.m., North Barn – Function Room, 19 Kimball Hill Road, Hudson. The Hudson Fire Department hosts informal safety discussions on the first Tuesday of every month. For more information, call 603-578-3929.

• SENIOR CENTER: “Hustlers” the moving — noon, North Barn – Meeting Room, 19 Kimball Hill Road, Hudson.

• TOWN HALL: Board of Selectmen — 7 p.m., Town Hall – Board of Selectmen Meeting Room, 12 School St., Hudson, agenda available at hudsonnh.gov.

• TOWN OFFICE: Planning board — 7-9p.m. – Town Hall Meeting Room, 2 Liberty Way, Suite 1, Litchfield.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4

• TOWN HALL: Budget Committee — CANCELED – was at 7 p.m., Town Hall – Buxton Room, 12 School St., Hudson.

• TOWN OFFICE: School Board — 6-8p.m. – Town Hall Conference Room, 2 Liberty Way, Suite 1, Litchfield.

THURSDAY, MARCH 5

• RODGERS MEMORIAL LIBRARY: Hudson-Litchfield Rotary Club — 7:30-8:30 a.m., community room, 194 Derry Road. Join the Hudson-Litchfield Rotary for their weekly meeting, at which they be visited by Officer Jason Downey and Haven, the comfort dog from the Hudson Police Department. Please bring chew toys to donate for Haven. This is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Jack Madden, jvmadden23w@comcast.net.

• RANGER’S TOWN FOREST: Guided Hike — 3:30-5:30 p.m., 70 Ranger’s Drive, Hudson, for 1-2 mile fitness event through the conservation commission on relatively easy main trail. Everyone welcome.

• ALVIRNE HIGH SCHOOL: Senior’s Prom — 4 p.m., 200 Derry Road, Hudson. the Alvirne High School Chapter of the Tri M Music Honor Society is sponsoring the senior’s prom, which will feature a meal with live music and dancing. The event is free to anyone 55 and older. Hudson residents younger than 55, may attend with a $10 donation. The event’s dinner will be prepared by Alvirne culinary students.

• TOWN HALL: Recreation Committee — 6:30 p.m., Town Hall – Board of Selectmen Meeting Room, 12 School St, Hudson.

• TOWN OFFICE: Conservation Commission Meeting — 7-9p.m. – Town Hall Meeting Room, 2 Liberty Way, Suite 1, Litchfield.

FRIDAY, MARCH 6

• RODGERS MEMORIAL LIBRARY: Is This Website Any Good? — noon-1p.m., community room, 194 Derry Road, Hudson.

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

• ALVIRNE HIGH SCHOOL: Hard Hat Tour — 8:30-10:30 a.m., 200 Derry Road, Hudson. Join Hudson School District superintendent and school officials for coffee, hot cocoa and donuts to learn about the warrant articles on the upcoming March 10 ballot. This is being sponsored by the Hudson School District.

• HUDSON GRANGE: Pinewood Derby Clinic Day — 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m., 4 Windham Road, Hudson. Bring a block of wood and an idea to create a race-ready Pinewood Derby car by the time participants leave the workshop. Tools will be provided, and experienced leaders will aid the group. This is being hosted by Hudson Boy Scout Pack 21.

• LITCHFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Litchfield Historical Society meeting — 2 p.m., 255 Charles Bancroft Hwy, Litchfield.
