NASHUA – Fabio Fontes Rosa, 24, of Boston, was taken into custody on Feb. 3 in connection with a break-in at the Dunkin’ on Broad Street late last year.

According to the Nashua Police Department, on Nov. 26, 2025, officers responded to an activated security alarm at 38 Broad St. Upon arrival, police found that the front door and drive-thru windows had been smashed. Surveillance footage reportedly showed Rosa breaking the windows and stealing a credit card reader.

Officers were later contacted by detectives from the Providence, R.I. Police Department who identified Rosa as the suspect in a commercial burglary. They were also tracking a stolen cell phone that was reportedly “showing in the area of 38 Broad St.”

Providence detectives provided information about Rosa’s vehicle which matched the description of a vehicle involved in a recent high-speed pursuit in Townsend, Mass.

He has been charged with burglary and two counts of criminal mischief.

Rosa’s bail was set at $1,000. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Feb. 4.

Under state law, if convicted, Rosa could face up to nine years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
