Hooksett man indicted on threats against governor

CONCORD – Tristan Anderson, 22, of Hooksett, was indicted on Dec. 23 for allegedly threatening the life of Gov. Kelly Ayotte.
According to State Police, Anderson posted on social media that he planned to use “my weapon of mass destruction” to harm Ayotte. He also reportedly made anti-Semitic statements about the “Israel Deep State.”
Anderson is charged with two counts of attempted harm to certain government officials and attempted throwing or placing of explosives as well as making threats to certain government officials.
Anderson is being held on preventative detention. A dispositional conference in Merrimack County Superior Court is scheduled for Jan. 8, 2026.
Under state law, if convicted, Anderson could face up to 37 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $12,000 in fines.
