Nashua woman threatens police

NASHUA – Wanda Nadeau, 38, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Oct. 8 for allegedly threatening Nashua Police with a gun.
According to police, Nadeau repeatedly called the station prompting officers to respond to her apartment several times. During the final response, Nadeau, who reportedly had a young boy with her, threatened officers with a gun.
At that time, officers arrested her and located the weapon. The child was not harmed and was placed in the custody of his family.
Nadeau has been charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.
Nadeau was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Oct. 9.
Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to 16 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $12,000 in fines.
