Hudson man arrested after collision with rock wall

LONDONDERRY – Devin Quinn, 29, of Hudson, was taken into custody on Oct. 2 following a police pursuit that ended with a rock wall.
According to State Police, at 10:17 p.m., Trooper Matthew Howe observed Quinn driving a 2003 BMW 3 Series at 118 miles per hour on Interstate 93.
A short time later, Quinn got off the highway at exit 5. In an attempt to evade Howe, Quinn reportedly accelerated and began passing other vehicles.
In the interest of public safety, Howe discontinued the chase at that time. Police later found that Quinn had struck a rock wall on Old Derry Road. Although Quinn was not injured, “significant damage” was done to the wall and the BMW.
Quinn has been charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, two counts of aggravated DUI, a third DUI offense, operating after suspension, criminal mischief and reckless driving.
He was released on cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court at a later date.
Under state law, if convicted, Quinn could face up to 17 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $15,500 in fines.
