Nashua couple charged with negligent homicide

NASHUA – Jasmine Cedar-Fultz, 32, and Xorrel Cabrera, 24, both of Nashua, were taken into custody on Aug. 20 in connection with the death of their infant last October.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on Oct. 17, 2024, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive three-month-old child. Officers, paramedics and firefighters all worked feverishly to try to save the child. The infant was then rushed to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
Detectives with the Special Investigations Division continued the investigation and issued arrest warrants for Cedar-Fultz and Cabrera, charging both of them with negligent homicide.
Cedar-Fultz and Cabrera were held on preventative detention and were scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Aug. 21.
Under state law, if convicted, they could each face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
