Nashua man charged with reckless use of firearm

NASHUA – Aaron Roy, 39, of Nashua, was taken into custody on July 17 in connection with a gun incident.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to an apartment building on March 16 and made contact with Roy. He allegedly told police that he “accidentally discharged his firearm into his bedroom wall.”
Roy reportedly disposed of the shell casing before police arrived at the scene.
He has been charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and falsifying physical evidence.
He was released on a $500 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Aug. 19.
Under state law, if convicted, Roy could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
