Hudson man faces several charges of child sexual abuse

HUDSON – Aidan Tierney, 22, of Hudson, was taken into custody on July 15 on charges related to the possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse images.

According to the Hudson Police Department, officers began their investigation after receiving information from the alleged victim. Tierney was identified as the suspect after police completed their review of digital forensic evidence.

He has been charged with two counts of transferring child sexual abuse images, nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, possession of child sexual abuse images, attempted theft by extortion and falsifying physical evidence.

Under state law, if convicted, Tierney could face up to 76 years in prison, up to 20 years of probation and up to $14,000 in fines.

Tierney was held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on July 16.
