Nashua man facing numerous domestic violence charges

NASHUA – Nathan Titus, 31, of Nashua, was taken into custody on June 1 in connection with an incident involving domestic violence.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on May 31, officers responded to a report of a woman who was reportedly suicidal.
Titus told police that the woman, whom he knew, had cut her neck with a knife.
However, the woman later told officers that she was not allowed to call police for a domestic assault. Therefore, she cut her neck to prompt a response.
Titus has been charged with second degree assault; domestic violence (strangulation), domestic violence; false imprisonment, resisting arrest/detention and 24 counts of domestic violence; simple assault.
Under state law, if convicted, Titus could face up to 33 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $54,000 in fines.
Titus was held on preventative detention and was arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 1.
