Nashua man charged with assaulting ex-girlfriend

NASHUA – Marcus Ndlovu, 23, of Nashua, was taken into custody on May 12 in connection with a domestic violence incident.

According to the Nashua Police Department, the female victim told officers that Ndlovu, her former boyfriend, climbed through a window and into her home during the early morning hours of May 12. He then reportedly assaulted her and grabbed her neck, which impaired her breathing.

Ndlovu has been charged with second degree assault (strangulation) – domestic violence and burglary.

Under state law, if convicted, Ndlovu could face up to 22 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.

Ndlovu was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 13.
