City man charged with criminal threatening

NASHUA – Yonelvi Facenda-Gomez, 20, of Nashua was taken into custody on May 18 for a criminal threatening incident involving a knife.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers were told that Facenda-Gomez arrived home and began arguing with other individuals in the residence. He reportedly threatened one individual with a kitchen knife, which was later recovered by detectives.

He has been charged with domestic violence – criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.

Under state law, if convicted, Facenda-Gomez could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.

He was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court May 19.
