Nashua man charged following domestic dispute

NASHUA – Paul Williams, 30, of Nashua, was taken into custody on April 27, two days after a domestic dispute that allegedly resulted in gunfire.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on April 25, officers responded to a report of shots fired and reportedly found a female victim who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot to the face. Williams fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim told police that she knew Williams and that the gunshot resulted from a verbal argument.
Officers with the Domestic Violence Unit of the Special Investigations Division continued the investigation and issued a warrant for Williams’ arrest.
Williams has been charged with domestic violence; simple assault – bodily injury and deadly weapon as well as being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
Williams was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on April 28.
Under state law, if convicted, Lopez could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
