Police make 14 arrests under Substance Abuse Reduction Initiative

NASHUA – During a four-week period ending on April 25, members of the Nashua and Hudson Police Departments arrested the following 14 individuals for various drug crimes, crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses. Several of these arrests stemmed from when officers were operating under the New Hampshire Substance Abuse Reduction Initiative Grant.
Cassie Ann Tallant, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine) – subsequent offense. Tallant was released on personal recognizance bail pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Tallant could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Craig Riley, 52, was arrested and charged with two counts of the sale of a controlled drug (crack cocaine) – subsequent offense and being a common nuisance. Riley refused bail and is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Riley could face up to 67 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $1,004,000 in fines.
Lewis Clark, 47, was arrested and charged with convicted felons, being an armed career criminal, two counts of possession of a controlled drug (cocaine and crack cocaine) – subsequent offense and the sale of a controlled drug (marijuana) – subsequent offense. Clark is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Clark could face up to 97 years in prison, up to 15 years of probation and up to $1,012,000 in fines.
Alexis Turgeon, 30, was arrested and charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled drug (fentanyl and crack cocaine). Turgeon was released on personal recognizance bail pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Turgeon could face up to 60 years in prison and up to $900,000 in fines.
Christine Jones, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl) and resisting arrest/detention. Jones was released on personal recognizance bail pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Jones could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
Henri Guite, 45, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (clonazepam) – subsequent offense. Guite was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Guite could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Ryan Basnett, 28, was arrested and charged with witness tampering. Basnett refused bail and is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Basnett could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Robert Ngari, 41, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl), resisting arrest/detention and dealing/possessing prescription drugs. Ngari is being held on a $400 cash bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Ngari could face up to nine years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
Gregory Levesque, 36, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl and crack cocaine), subsequent offense. Levesque is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Levesque could face up to 30 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
Charles Shepard, 55, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl). Shepard was released on personal recognizance pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Shepard could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
George Smith, 54, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl) – subsequent offense. Smith refused bail and is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Smith could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Scott Lemere, 60, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine and suboxone) – subsequent offense. Lemere was released on personal recognizance pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Lemere could face up to 30 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
Kelly Grzech, 43, was arrested and charged with being a common nuisance, possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine) – subsequent offense, two counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute (fentanyl and crack cocaine) – subsequent offense and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. Grzech was released on a $1,000 cash bail pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Grzech could face up to 53 years in prison, up to 20 years of probation and up to $18,000 in fines.
Hayden Wilburn, 31, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl) and two counts of resisting arrest/detention. Wilburn was held on $500 cash bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Wilburn could face up to nine years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
