City woman charged with stealing car

NASHUA – Pierce Osgood of Nashua was taken into custody on April 18 in connection with a motor vehicle theft.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers became aware of the stolen car on Jan. 30. The victim reportedly told police that she left her vehicle running while she briefly went into work. However, when she returned, the car was gone.
A short time later, Massachusetts State Police found Osgood who had allegedly crashed the vehicle.
Osgood has been charged with theft by unauthorized taking. She was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 20.
Under state law, if convicted, Osgood could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
