Two Nashua men charged with sex felonies

NASHUA – Matthew Michalak, 36, and William McLean, 35, both of Nashua, were taken into custody on March 24 for the alleged distribution of sex images and indecent exposure, respectively.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers received a report from a woman on Dec. 12, 2024 accusing Michalak of acting without her consent, sending an explicit photograph of her to another individual.

After further investigation, detectives with the Special Investigations Division charged Michalak with the nonconsensual dissemination of sex images.

Michalak was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on April 30.

Under state law, if convicted, Michalak could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.

According to police, on March 4, a mandated reporter notified officers of an indecent exposure incident allegedly involving McLean and an underage female whom he knew.

After further investigation, detectives with the Special Investigations Division learned that McLean had exposed himself to two underage females whom he knew.

McLean has been charged with two counts of indecent exposure and lewdness.

He was released on a $500 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on April 30.

Under state law, if convicted, McLean could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
