City man faces slew of domestic violence charges

NASHUA – Keagan Gingras, 29, of Nashua was taken into custody on Feb. 13 on charges of domestic violence.
According to the Nashua Police Department, a female victim, whose identity was not released, made accusations against Gingras on Jan. 31.
On Feb. 6, the same female victim reportedly told police about a number of domestic violence incidents with Gingras that escalated into physical confrontations. She also provided police with pictures of the injuries she sustained.
As a result, Gingras has been charged with two counts of second degree assault-domestic violence, criminal threatening-conduct, domestic violence, false imprisonment and eight counts of domestic violence-simple assault.
Under state law, if convicted, Gingras could face up to 18 years in prison, up to five years probation and up to $26,000 in fines.
Gingras was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Feb. 14.
