Police make seven arrests under Operation Granite Shield

NASHUA – During a two-week period ending Jan. 31, the Nashua Police Department arrested seven individuals for various drug crimes, crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses.

Several of these arrests stemmed from when officers were operating under the New Hampshire Substance Abuse Reduction Grant. Those individuals were as follows:

Cara Kulingoski, 47, was arrested and charged with two counts of the sale of controlled drugs (fentanyl and crack cocaine), credit card fraud and falsifying physical evidence. Kulingoski was held on $600 cash bail and transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Kulingoski could face up to 74 years in prison, up to 10 years probation and up to $1,000,008 in fines.

Amber Mochrie, 39, was arrested and charged with the sale of a controlled drug (fentanyl) and willful concealment. Mochrie was released on personal recognizance pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Mochrie could face up to 31 years in prison and up to $502,000 in fines.

Valmore Laplante, 45, was arrested and charged with the sale of a controlled drug (fentanyl) and falsifying physical evidence. Laplante was released on $400 cash bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Laplante could face up to 37 years in prison, up to five years probation and up to $504,000 in fines.

Jessica Cothern, 26, was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute (fentanyl, crack cocaine and methamphetamine), possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine) and falsifying physical evidence. Cothern was released on $400 cash bail pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Cothern could face up to 104 years in prison, up to 10 years probation and up to $1.5 million in fines.

Courtney Lavalle, 26, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of controlled drugs (cocaine and crack cocaine). Lavalle was released on personal recognizance pending her arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Lavalle could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years probation and up to $8,000 in fines.

Aaron White, 47, was arrested and charged with a subsequent offense of possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine). White was released on personal recognizance pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, White could face up to 15 years in prison, up to 10 years probation and a fine of up to $4,000.

Ryan Sinclair, 32, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (buprenorphine hydrochloride). Sinclair was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, Sinclair could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
