Upcoming trial for alleged identity fraud
NASHUA – Hudson resident Mark Leach, 59, of 70 Old Derry Road, faces two felony and four misdemeanor charges stemming from allegations he defrauded a bank in order to obtain another person’s account information, and used the person’s credit card without authorization to purchase more than $1,500 in electrical supplies, according to his case file.
The two felony charges, on which a grand jury indicted Leach in October, include one count each of identity fraud-pose as another, and fraudulent use of a credit card.
According to the indictments, Leach allegedly committed the ID fraud offense between May 10 and June 18 in Hudson, and allegedly used the credit card fraudulently on May 25, also in Hudson, when he allegedly purchased electrical supplies worth more than $1,500 “knowing he was unauthorized” to use the card and did so without permission.
