City announces new tax rate
NASHUA - The city’s tax rate for 2025 has been set by the state Department of Revenue Administration at $16.83 per $1,000 of valuation. This rate is above the 2024 tax rate of $15.90, representing an increase of 5.83 percent or $0.93. The management of the city’s finances remains steady and well-balanced. During the past year, the city’s property valuation had very little change. The total property values in the city increased by approximately $100 million dollars, which is less than one percent. Property tax bills will be mailed on Nov. 14 and are due on Dec. 15.
