NASHUA – Southern New Hampshire Medical Center has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 100 Great Community Hospitals list for 2026, recognizing medical institutions that deliver exceptional community-based care.

Each year, the publication compiles this list to recognize hospitals that its editors say, “bring accessible, affordable, high-quality care to patients beyond the reach of large urban health systems.”

This award comes at a time of continued growth throughout the health system, which includes expansion at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center to offer a higher-level of care to the southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts region. A first-of-its kind retail pharmacy will be opening at the Medical Center later this month, and construction is well underway on a state-of-the-art heart and vascular center set to open at the beginning of 2027.
