Member of Ayotte’s security detail pulls Massachusetts man from flames

BEDFORD – A state trooper assigned to Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s security team pulled 51-year-old Massachusetts resident Yevgeny Mirman from a burning vehicle at the Bedford Toll Plaza on March 31. According to State Police, Mirman, who was driving a 2026 Lucid Gravity, struck the toll structure just before noon and became trapped as the sports utility vehicle burst into flames. The trooper quickly pulled Mirman through a window and out of the vehicle. Ayotte and other witnesses also provided assistance. Mirman was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. “Certainly, their actions were heroic in what they did,” said State Police Col.
