NASHUA – Rivier men’s basketball first-year Daylen Dalcour has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week after a standout performance that helped the Raiders secure a 2-0 record in conference play to close their season.

Over the two-game stretch, Dalcour averaged 17.0 points per game while shooting 70% from the field. He also contributed 8.5 rebounds and two assists per contest.

The Houston, Texas native poured in 19 points on 78% shooting from the field, while adding nine rebounds, including four on the offensive glass, along with two assists and two blocks in a 96-83 victory over Elms.

Dalcour continued his strong play in the season finale, a 98-90 victory over Emmanuel (Mass). He added 15 points on 63% shooting from the field, pulled down eight rebounds, five on the offensive glass, and dished out two assists.
