Wildcats hang with Nebraska for awhile before 86-55 loss
LINCOLN, Neb. – Junior guard Jack Graham scored a team-high 17 points but the University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team was upended 86-55 by 13th-ranked University of Nebraska on Tuesday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Nebraska led 41-38 at halftime and outscored the Wildcats 45-17 in the second half to pull away for the victory.
Redshirt freshman guard R.J. Kennedy scored 11 points while junior guard Comeh Emuobor finished with eight points and five rebounds.
Pryce Sandfort (19 points), Braden Frager (15), Berke Buyuktuncel (14) and Rienk Mast (10) led a balance Cornhuskers’ offense.
UNH is 4-9 at the completion of its non-conference schedule. Nebraska remains unbeaten at 13-0.
