The James E. Coffey Post #3 Nashua Senior Legion baseball team is now 7-4 in District B going into today’s game at first place Salem.

Nashua swept Rochester the other night, 8-5 and 10-1 to put them in a tie for third in District B, in position for a spot in the state tourney that begins on July 25. The top four teams in Districts A and B qualify.

In the 8-5 win, Nick Wyner went 2 for 4 with two doubles and four RBIs. Jake Daley went 3 for 4 with an RBI.

In the 10-1 win, Bryce Larco tossed 5.2 innings of one-hit baseball, striking out 11, and also helped himself with two hits and two RBIs. Nick Wyner had two hits and an RBI while Dylan Morelli had two hits.

Nashua will host Londonderry in a doubleheader on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holman.
