Ethier breaks out to 3-stroke lead in Nashua City Golf

NASHUA – Tommy Ethier appears resolved to hold onto the Nashua City Golf Championship crown.
Ethier, who plays out of Nashua Country Club, shot a 4-under 68 on Saturday at Sky Meadow Country Club, good for a 3-stroke first-round lead over Cameron Sheedy.
John DeVito (Passaconaway) and Rick Moreau (Sky Meadow) came in at even par 72.
The second and final round of the tournament is scheduled for today at Nashua Country Club.
Round one in the Senior Division produced a three-way tie atop the leaderboard as John Sterling, Stephen Lane and Curtis Graham all shot7-over 79s. Robert Lind and Steve Miron camein at 8-over, one stroke ahead of James Wirbal.
