There was no stormy weather on Tuesday so high school games were all over the area at all different times during vacation week — and many were key to the postseason may shape up.

Most local hoop teams ended their regular season, but in Division I girls Alvirne hosts Winnacunnet today with the winner qualifying for the tourney and the loser seeing its season end.

There were also two Bishop Guertin hockey games played yesterday, so read on:

Francisco Rodriguez scored 22 points as the Panthers finish the regular season. Daniel Karavanic had 14 and Shane Lemire added 12 points. South ends with an 11-7 record after a 4-6 start and could possibly get a home game in the first round of the Division I tournament next Wednesday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

NASHUA NORTH 62, MERRIMACK 50

The Titans snapped a six-game losing streak to end the regular season at 8-10 despite 27 points by the 5-13 Tomahawks’ Meg McCarthy. That’s because Lily Small had 21 points while Alaina Small added 12 and Angie King had 10 for North, which will enter tourney play next week on the road, likely at possible No. 2 seed Bedford.

Avery Cruz added 20 for the ‘Hawks, who ended their season yesterday.
