HS Divison I Football: Bedford, Pinkerton, Salem win

The Final Four in NHIAA Division I football are set.
And there is one surprise. Salem knocked off the red-hot Manchester Memorial Crusaders in Friday night’s quarterfinals, while both Bedford and Pinkerton rolled to wins.
Thus it will be No. 4 Nashua South at No. 1 Bedford and No. 7 Salem at No. 3 Pinkerton in next Friday’s semifinals.
Here’s a look at the other three quarters:
NO. 2 PINKERTON 34, NO. 6 WINDHAM 6
The Jags’ Brandon Jacobs had a TD reception to give the visitors a 6-0 lead but then it was all Pinkerton with touchdowns by Noah Rao (interception return), Aiden McDonald (20-yard run), Brady Spellman (9-yard run), Joe Osanya (47 yard run) and Jordan Ball (4-yard run).
NO. 1 BEDFORD 44, NO. 8 WINNACUNNET 13
Bennett Matthews had a TD pass, a 12-yard TD run and a punt return for a score as the unbeaten Bulldogs (10-0) rolled at Bulldog Stadium. Back Brody Helton also had a TD for the ‘Dogs.
NO. 7 SALEM 24, NO. 2 MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 17
Jordan Zannini had a 26-yard pick six with 1:36 left to clinch the Blue Devils stunning win at Chabot McDonough Field. Colin Salkovitz had a TD reception plus the go-ahead 4-yard TD run for the Devils.
