This week and next, The Telegraph will honor the athletes from a very eventful spring high school season with our annual All-Star (All-Area) teams. Today: Boys Volleyball Player of the Year.
2022 TELEGRAPH BOYS VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Jake Laborde wouldn’t let his Hollis Brookline High School boys volleyball team back down against unbeaten Windham in the state finals, and as a result, the Cavaliers prevailed. Laborde, the New Hampshire Volleyball Coaches Association’s All-State Player of the Year, led HB to a 16-2 season, despite dislocating his shoulder halfway through the season. He finishes his high school career with a total of 44 aces, 85 digs, 22 blocks and a .320 hitting percentage. He’ll be attending and playing men’s volleyball for Endicott College in 2022-23.
