GIRLS SOCCER

NASHUA SOUTH 8, SPAULDING 1

Nashua South routed Spaulding with a variety of players accounting for the scoring.

Alex Kapopolous scored two goals as did Camille Michon, Sophie Kingston and Addison Varley.

Ava Kopicko, Soraya Ross and Ella Benzekri added assists.

Abby Finchum played well in goal.

WINDHAM 3, NASHUA NORTH 0

A young Titan squad dropped its season opener at Stellos Stadium to last year’s Division one runnerup.

North now next gets to play visit the team that beat the Jaguars in last year’s title game, Exeter, on Thursday.

BOYS SOCCER

HOLLIS BROOKLINE 11, MANCHESTER WEST 0

Hollis Brookline had no problems in hammering Manchester West on Friday.

Noah Sinclair opened the scoring five minutes into the game, from Danny Sattler, then made it 2-0 three minutes later, assisted by Ryan Wisbe, and scored his third goal unassisted.

Hunter Crea scored the fourth goal, assisted by Daniel Sattler, and scored the fifth goal unassisted.

Ben Dufoe scored the sixth goal, assisted by Alex James. James scored the final goal of the first half from Andrew Eckman.

Parker Cheyne scored the first goal of the second half. Eckman scored shortly thereafter, assisted by Riley Callahan.

John Sommers scored a goal assisted by Noah Moyer. Sommers scored the final goal of the game from 30 yards out.

There were three goalies in this game for HB. John Sommers took over in net after scoring his two goals, Owen Ford had one save and Aidan Dufoe had two saves.
