One local high school hockey team snapped a losing streak against a local rival. Another saw its extended against a divisional rival.

The Merrimack Tomahawks edged Nashua North-Souhegan in a classic at Conway Arena on Saturday, snapping a two-game skid to improve to 4-2.

However, the Bishop Guertin Cardinals weren’t as fortunate, dropping their second straight 3-2 decision at the hands of Salem, who they’ve had classic battles with.

In other action, the BG girls hockey team remained unbeaten with its second win over Berlin-Gorham in the last four days, this one on the road a bit easier than Wednesday’s comeback.

North and BG were also victorious in wrestling, while Merrimack topped BG in bowling at Merrimack Ten Pin.
