High School Highlights: Nashua South girls hoop tops Keene

The Panthers improve to 3-1 after securing their first road win of the season. Julianna Martin scored 14 points, Kirsten McIntire had 10 points and Jordan Rioux added eight points to the win.
South will be back in action on January 14 against Alvirne.

Winnisquam 20
The Cougars (2-3) picked up a dominant win on the road Tuesday night.
Tori Allen had a great overall performance with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Karleigh Schultz (eight points), Alyssa Gonzalez (six points) and Hailey Anderson (five points) played well in the winning effort. At the end of the game all 11 players tallied points.
Campbell travels to Newport on Friday.
Merrimack 45,
Central 39
The Tomahawks prevailed in a tough physical matchup that saw 34 total fouls called.
Riley Crampton had a team high 11 points. Theresa Twardosky (nine points) and Shannon Sadhwani (eight points) played well in Merrimack’s third straight win.
The Tomahawks welcome Goffstown on
Thursday.
Bishop Guertin 73,
Londonderry 35
The Cardinals improved to 4-0 (5-2 overall) with 14 players in the scoring column, led by senior Erin Carney’s 18 points.
Guertin led 45-15 at the half, and had a 10-0 run to start the third period to remove all doubt.
The Cards visit Dover on Friday.

The Broncos (2-2) went into the game with a balanced attack leading by as many as 11. Grace Hodgdon and Dara Ochieng led the way with 12 and 11 points respectively. Sara Ruigrok netted eight points and Ellie Ochieng added seven.
Alvirne travels to Manchester Central on

The Spartans (0-3) trailed 20-1 after the first quarter and never recovered on the road against Plymouth.
Leslie MacGrath led the scoring with nine points and Sarah Dobbs added eight.

Matt Dias knocked down a big shot down the stretch to seal the win for the Cavs (2-1). Max Stapelfeld led the team in points with 15, while Ryan Coutu contributed another 12 points. Sander Wimmer and Grant Snyder collected 10 points each.
Hollis Brookline travels to Bow on Friday.

Jack Dewitt and Liam O’Neill each had 15 points apiece for the Broncos, who fall to 1-2 in the early going.
Paul Manzi pitched in 10 points.
Alvirne will host Bishop Guertin on Friday.

Londonderry broke open a 24-20 game with a 20-4 third-quarter barrage to finish off the Cardinals, who drop to 1-1 in Division I play with the loss.

Nashua North 66
The Titans, despite some strong work from Nate Kane, fell behind 35-28 at the break and never recovered, dropping to 1-1 while Bedford improves to 2-1. North travels to Merrimack Friday night.
