NASHUA — The grand jury for Hillsborough County Superior Court South has handed up five indictments on charges accusing Danielle Dauphinais of murdering her son, Elijah Lewis, whose body was found in woods in Massachusetts last fall, several months after he was last seen alive.
Dauphinais, 35, will be arraigned on the charges contained in the indictments in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua on a date that has yet to be determined, according to the office of Attorney General John Formella.
The grand jury indicted Dauphinais on one count of first-degree murder, for allegedly purposely causing the death of Elijah Lewis; one count of second-degree murder, for allegedly causing the death of Elijah Lewis recklessly with extreme indifference to the value of human life; and three counts of tampering with witnesses, according to Formella.
