Hudson experiences power surge at substation
HUDSON – If you woke up to blinking digital clocks this morning, you can thank a power surge that happened overnight at a PSNH substation, according to town fire officials.
While there was no power outage per se, a portion of the town was affected by the surge at a Highland Street substation, fire officials said.
PSNH had no further information this morning on the power surge. However, some outages were reported elsewhere in the state, notably in the towns of Epping and Fitzwilliam, according to PSNH.
