By Staff | Jun 13, 2020

RINDGE – The College of Business at Franklin Pierce University is pleased to announce the creation of a new Accounting specialization in its nationally recognized Master of Business Administration program. The MBA in Accounting will be offered online in Fall 2020, and will prepare students for management positions or accounting leadership roles in for-profit or non-profit organizations. Students will study a wide range of business topics, including leadership, marketing, operations management, and communications, while also mastering technical skills in accounting and financial analysis. Graduates will be prepared for professional certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).

Dr. Norman Faiola, dean of the College of Business, notes, “Building on the strength of our undergraduate accounting program and our existing, more technical Master of Science in Accounting program, we are excited to offer another option for business professionals to develop accounting and financial management expertise through our highly regarded online MBA program.”

The Franklin Pierce MBA program also offers specializations in Leadership, Energy and Sustainability Studies, Health Administration, Human Resource Management, and Sports Management. Franklin Pierce offers small classes for in-depth, personalized learning in a program that is accredited by the International Accreditation Council of Business Education (IACBE). The program features exceptional professors and advisers who work with students to develop a full- or part-time schedule that fits individual needs. With classes offered entirely online or in hybrid online/classroom format, the graduate degree can be completed in as little as one year.
