Nashua Police announce eight drug arrests made in December
NASHUA – In December 2025, the Nashua Police Department arrested eight individuals for various drug crimes, crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses. Those individuals are as follows:
Idris Terrell, 32, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug; subsequent offense and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. Terrell was released on cash bail pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
Carlos Aries Montero, 24, was arrested and charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled drug. Montero was released on cash bail pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 21 years in prison, up to 15 years of probation and up to $12,000 in fines.
Eric Potvin, 23, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug; subsequent offense. Potvin was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Carlos Mendez Vizcaino, 38, was arrested and charged with license required, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled drug. Mendez Vizcaino was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $7,200.
Jose Ignacio Andujar Mateo, 27, was arrested and charged with 16 counts of the sale of a controlled drug. Andujar Mateo was held on preventative detention pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 480 years in prison and up to $8 million in fines.
Christopher Melvin Dube, 29, was arrested and charged with the sale of a controlled drug. Melvin Dube was released on personal recognizance pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000.
James Gibson, 35, was arrested on an active electronic bench warrant. He was originally charged with possession of a controlled drug. Gibson was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $25,000.
Angel Soto Fuentes, 35, was arrested and charged with two counts of the sale of a controlled drug. Soto Fuentes was held on preventive detention pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 60 years in prison and up to $1 million in fines.
Ricardo Lazo, 44, was arrested and charged with disobeying an officer, operating a motor vehicle as a habitual offender and the felonious use of a firearm. Lazo was released on a $500 cash bail pending his arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 12 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Crystal Smith, 39, was arrested on an active Capias warrant. She was originally charged with possession of a controlled drug. Smith was held pending her arraignment in Belknap Superior Court. Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $25,000.
