The Merrimack invests in Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity’s Home Repair Program
CONCORD – Merrimack County Savings Bank is helping to build stronger communities by supporting the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity.
Funded through the state’s Community Development Finance Authority, The Merrimack has pledged $10,000 towards the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity’s Home Repair Program, which provides urgent repairs to low-income homeowners, including seniors, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
“This contribution goes directly towards helping our neighbors and enhancing the communities we serve,” said bank President Linda Lorden. “We appreciate all the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity does to provide safe and affordable housing.”
The Home Repair Program is a critical service to the community by providing essential repairs to homeowners in need of assistance. With a focus on health, life and safety code issues, the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity helps families reclaim their homes with pride and dignity.
“The success of this campaign wouldn’t be possible without support from our local businesses, including The Merrimack,” said Christa Tsechrintzis, executive director of the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity. “Not only will we be able to increase the capacity of the program, it will help strengthen our partnerships throughout our service area to assist local residents.”
