Manchester man charged with Londonderry crash

LONDONDERRY – Felly Mizenga, 54, of Manchester, was taken into custody on May 7 in connection with a fatal motor vehicle crash on Rockingham Road last October.

According to the Londonderry Police Department, on Oct. 12, 2024, officers and medical personnel found that a Toyota Highlander had collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle, Brian Marcoux of Dracut, Mass., was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester where he was later pronounced dead.

Mizenga has been charged with negligent homicide, vehicular assault, a hands-free violation, a yellow/solid line violation and failure to yield.

Under state law, if convicted, Mizenga could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $5,000 in fines.

He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on June 11.
