NASHUA – Daniil Del Gaudio, 19, of Goffstown, was taken into custody on March 18 on a felony warrant charging him with possession of child sexual abuse images.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers were notified in January about child sexual abuse images on Del Gaudio’s cell phone.

Detectives from the Cybercrimes Against Children Unit continued the investigation and obtained a warrant to search Del Gaudio’s phone. During the search, detectives reportedly obtained enough evidence to issue an arrest warrant.

Del Gaudio has been charged with six counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.

He was held without bail and was taken to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on March 18.

Under state law, if convicted, Del Gaudio could face up to 90 years in prison and up to $24,000 in fines.
