Nashua Police make two drug arrests

NASHUA – During the week of April 6-10, the Nashua Police Department arrested two individuals for various drug crimes, crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other offenses. Officers were acting under the Substance Abuse Reduction Initiative.

These individuals are as follows:

Craig Carter, 51, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute (fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine), subsequent offense, three counts of the sale of controlled drugs (fentanyl x2, crack cocaine), subsequent offense and possession of controlled drugs (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine), subsequent offense. Carter was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 225 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $3,504,000 in fines.

Daniel Davis, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (cocaine). Davis was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to seven years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
