City man charged with threatening family member

NASHUA – Samuel Marmol, 23, of Nashua, was taken into custody on March 17 after he allegedly threatened to shoot a member of his family.

According to the Nashua Police Department, the victim, whose identity has not been released, told officers that Marmol arrived home and pointed a gun at his family.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Division continued the investigation and located the gun.

Marmol was arrested at the scene and was taken to the Hillsborough County House of Correction where he was held on preventative detention.

Marmol has been charged with domestic violence – criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and falsifying physical evidence.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on March 18.

Under state law, if convicted, Marmol could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
