Nashua Library to host first metal concert
NASHUA - For the first time in its history, the Nashua Public Library is offering a music concert for metal fans. Local death metal band Cytokine will take the stage for a free, all-ages, concert featuring their signature bone-crushing breakdowns, tear-inducing melodies and fast-paced metallic riffs. The concert will be held on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in the library’s Chandler Wing. “At the core of our work is the belief that everyone should have free and equal access to music, art, and culture,” said Programming and Marketing Librarian Pamela Baker. “We’re excited to welcome this underserved community into the library and continue building on our mission that libraries are for everyone.” The free concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Nashua Public Library and open to everyone.
