United Way looking for volunteers for two fall events
NASHUA - The United Way of Greater Nashua is calling on residents to get involved and make a difference through two volunteer opportunities this fall: a city-wide community cleanup and ongoing volunteer service at the Nashua Resource Center. On Oct. 17, from 8-11 a.m., the United Way will host United to Keep Nashua Clean, a city-wide volunteer event aimed at making Nashua cleaner, healthier and more beautiful. The organization is seeking 100 volunteers to help clean up as many as ten locations throughout the city. Families, school groups, clubs, sports teams, churches, businesses and individual volunteers are all encouraged to participate. Volunteers will work together to remove litter and beautify public spaces while demonstrating the power of collective community action.
