South grads encouraged to take risks
NASHUA - Looking out at his class for the last time, Henry Long, student speaker at the Nashua High School South graduation, reminded his classmates that they only live once and to never back down from a challenge. “Always keep an open mind and always take those risks,” he said during the June 9 ceremony at Stellos Stadium. “Go talk to that professor, ask for that raise, go skydiving, choose to cheer for the Buffalo Bills when you're deep in Patriots territory.” Long said that prior to high school, he was a quiet and shy person. Perhaps some of that still lingers. He did not even tell his parents that he was chosen as the student speaker.
