Chop Shop 166 hosts third annual Cars, Robots and Coffee event
MERRIMACK - Chop Shop 166, Merrimack High School’s FIRST Robotics Competition team hosted its third annual Cars, Robots, and Coffee event on Aug. 30. The event blends a car show with a FIRST robotics demonstration. “I was really happy to see the growth of the event this year,” said Layth Juma, a mentor and the lead organizer of the event. “We had the most show cars we’ve ever had and had a great diverse group of people and cars. It’s awesome to engage in multiple communities and bring this event to our community.” This year, more than 100 different vehicles and 400 spectators showed up.
