DeChent leads UNH as Wildcats cruise past Dartmouth
DURHAM – Junior guard Eva DeChent recorded 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to lead the University of New Hampshire women’s basketball team to Saturday afternoon’s 74-38 victory against Dartmouth College at Lundholm Gym.
Maggie Cavanaugh, another junior guard, finished with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists while freshman forward Alia Cordone had 10 points.
Dartmouth was led by Cate MacDonald’s 14 points.
UNH, which outscored the Big Green 44-14 in the second half, won its second consecutive game to remain unbeaten at home (4-0) and improve to 5-7 overall. DC is now 8-3.
