UNH women’s hoop falls to No. 22 Louisville, 94-43
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Junior guard Maggie Cavanaugh recorded 12 points and seven rebounds as the University of New Hampshire women’s basketball team was defeated 94-43 by 22nd-ranked University of Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday afternoon.
Cavanaugh, who led the Wildcats in both scoring and rebounding, finished with a season-high rebound total in 27 minutes.
Junior guard Eva DeChent recorded seven points, four rebounds and a team-leading three assists in 23 minutes.
Tajiana Roberts and Skylar Jones led Louisville,which led 25-4 after the first 10 minutes, with 15 points apiece. Mackenly Randolph was the other Cardinals player in double figures with 11 points.
UNH moves to 3-7 overall and Louisville is 8-3.
