UNH men’s soccer opens up today in Durham vs. BU
DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team will kick off the 2025 season at Wildcat Stadium versus Boston University today at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.
The ‘Cats will return to action Sunday, Aug. 24 at 5 p.m. against Colgate on ESPN+ at Wildcat Stadium.
UNH is 24-24-9 all-time versus BU. In the last match up between the teams, the Wildcats and Terriers tied 0-0 on Aug. 22, 2024 at Nickerson Field.
UNH was picked second in the 2025 America East Preseason Poll as voted on by the conference’s head coaches, while graduate student midfielder Mattéo Brossel (Toulon, France) and sophomore defender Max Voigt (Oberkotzau, Germany) were selected to the Preseason All-Conference Team.
The Wildcats concluded the 2024 season with 7-3-7 overall record and a 4-1-2 mark in the conference. UNH won its sixth straight regular season championship. This was the first time in conference history that a team has won six straight.
