Former Merrimack High School and Nashua Silver Knight standout Mickey Gasper is on the move once again.
Gasper, an infieler-outfielder-catcher, has been traded by the Boston Red Sox, after appearing in 13 games for the Major League club — his MLB debut — in the second half of the 2024 season, to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for left-handed reliever Jovani Moran.
Moran missed all of the 2024 season due to Tommy John surgery. Gasper was taken by the Red Sox just over a year ago from the Yankees in the Minor League Rule V Draft.
